I'm 18. And apparently, that means I should sit quietly while a 24-year-old explains the world to me.
Biggest myth in our culture.
In our society, knowledge, intelligence, and wisdom are packaged neatly — by age, certificates, or that one speech your principal gave you for topping the class. And if you don't have any of these? Simple. Get out. Don't show your face. (Average internal monologue of people, by the way.)
So here's my unpolished advice - don't share your opinion with anyone until you match their age. Or their net worth. Because until then, the response will always be the same:
"Ohh Mr. blah blah... get outtttt."
I'm genuinely laughing. How confidently people sit inside their little bubble of knowledge — satisfied, sealed, untouchable. They won't learn from anyone who genuinely wants to give... unless you're their boss. And even then, it's pressure, not choice.
But here's my POV —
Intelligence, wisdom, maturity — none of this should be decided by achievements. It should be decided by experience. Because every person's life is different. Infinite paths, infinite perspectives. Can we really pack all of that into a single div?
(Div :That's a box in HTML, by the way. I slipped it in because I want you to learn something — and also because keeping your ego aside is literally the motto of this blog.)
Einstein once said you can't expect a fish to climb a tree by watching a monkey. Don't measure people with your own ruler. Your ruler might be too short.
Maybe they think differently. Maybe they see something you don't. Before you react — try to see where their perspective comes from. Don't make instant decisions.
Because hurry might just bury your tasty curry.
And look .. I could be wrong. Completely. That's the whole point. I'm not asking you to agree. I'm just asking you to pause before you dismiss.
Have a calm mind
